What is this?
The MakeSweet Blender is a tool for making short customized 3D movies
online.
We prepare a basic design (for example, a table falling from the sky with a cake on it, and then a zoom in on that cake) and you customize it for your own purposes (for example, putting a picture of your belovèd tortoise on the cake).
We're trying to do our bit to bring the possibilities of blender (an open source 3D design and animation program) to the masses. The current status of the project is that we now have a functional web interface for customizing designs, allowing customization and movie generation. Now we just need to recruit some artists to come up with some cool movies! Our in-house talent on this isn't up to much unfortunately (no offense, Brownie and Bozo). For those not familar with blender, you should check it out. The learning curve is steep, but with just a little patience you can learn to make interesting things.
However, you don't need to be able to use the blender program in order to use our website. That's the point, really.

save your stuff: Now when you make a picture or animation on our site, you can save it with a short URL, such as http://makesweet.com/test on our site itself. This skips the step of downloading and emailing or posting elsewhere. Just look for the “save to” option on high-resolution pictures and animations. Enjoy!
